4. Online Behavioral Advertising and Opt-Out Options

What is Online Behavioral Advertising? Online Behavioral Advertising, also known as Targeted Advertising, uses information collected about an individual’s web or mobile browsing behavior, such as pages visited, or searches made. This information is used to determine which advertisements should be displayed to a particular individual on websites other than our own. For instance, if you show interest in roadside assistance on our website, you might see advertisements for related services on other websites. The information collected for this purpose is linked to an anonymous cookie ID (alphanumeric number) and does not include personally identifiable information like name, address, or credit card number.

How to Opt-Out: If you wish to opt out of targeted advertising from 24Hr Car Unlocking Emergency Roadside Services that occurs when visiting third-party advertising publishers, please email us at [your marketing email address]. Opting out will remove you from targeted ads from our company and any other participating advertisers. However, you may still receive online advertising from us, but these ads may not be as tailored to your interests.

Browser Settings and Opt-Out Validity: For the opt-out to be effective, your browser must accept cookies. If you delete cookies, purchase a new device, access our services from a different device, log in under a different screen name, or change web browsers, you will need to opt-out again. If your browser has scripting disabled, you do not need to opt out, as online behavioral advertising technology does not work when scripting is disabled. Check your browser’s security settings to determine whether scripting is active or disabled.

Managing Your Advertising Preferences: Many network advertising programs allow you to view and manage the interest categories they have compiled from your online browsing activities. These categories help determine the types of targeted advertisements you may receive. You can use tools like the NAI Opt-Out Page, which identifies member companies that have cookies on your browser and provides links to those companies, to manage your preferences.

5. User-Posted Content

Our services at 24Hr Car Unlocking Emergency Roadside Services may offer publicly accessible platforms such as blogs, community forums, or other mediums that allow you to submit various types of content, including but not limited to ideas, photographs, user profiles, writings, music, videos, audio recordings, computer graphics, pictures, data, questions, comments, suggestions, or other forms of content, which may include Personal Information (“User Content”). Therefore, we urge you to be cautious and thoughtful about the information, particularly Personal Information, you share in connection with your User Content. If that’s the case, we will inform you and provide an explanation.
