Locksmith contractor opportunity

This page is for someone who wants to operate an independent automotive locksmith business and is looking for dispatch and call volume to fill it. It is not a franchise. There is no franchise fee, no required uniform, no royalty cut on the work itself. The contractor runs their own business and the network routes calls to it.

What the network provides

Inbound call volume routed by service area and availability. Customer payment processing through the dispatch system so the contractor does not run their own merchant account on day one. Dispatch software for accepting, updating, and closing out tickets. A national booking number that backfills when local marketing has not yet kicked in.

What you bring

The locksmith license your state requires. Texas requires a Locksmith Company License administered through TDLR; Arizona and Nevada have their own rules and timelines. A service vehicle. Key cutting and programming equipment (transponder programmer, code-cutter, basic pick set). Current general liability and commercial auto insurance. Phone for dispatch.

If you are starting from zero

If you do not yet have the equipment, the training, or the state licensing, the locksmith path takes time and a real capital investment. Entry-level transponder programmers are not cheap; the higher-end ones run into five figures. State licensing in Texas requires fingerprinting, training hours, and an exam.
