Tow truck operator opportunities

We contract independent tow operators across Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. Most of our dispatch volume runs through lockouts, jump-starts, and tire changes, with tow requests layered on top. This page covers what the work is, the licensing picture in our three states, and how to apply.

What the work is

A tow ticket through the network usually involves a short-distance hookup and a drop at a destination the customer specifies. We do not run long-haul, interstate freight, or repossession work. Trucks operating in the network are wheel-lift, flatbed, or rollback. Calls come in at all hours and the volume skews heavier overnight and on weekends.

Licensing by state

Texas licenses tow operators at the operator and the company level through TDLR. Light-duty operators need the basic operator license; rotation work requires a Consent Tow License. Arizona requires a Class A or Class B CDL depending on the truck weight class, registered through ADOT. Nevada requires a Class B CDL for non-rotation work over a state-set weight threshold; lighter wheel-lift trucks fall under a different rule through NDOT. State rules change. Check the current requirement with your state before applying rather than relying on what you read here.

What you bring

A working tow truck, current commercial auto insurance, the licensing your state requires for the truck class you operate, and a smartphone for the dispatch app. The dispatch app handles call routing, ticket updates, and payment capture.

How to apply

Email careers@24hrcarunlocking.com with your city, the truck you operate (class and rig type), current license details, insurance carrier, and a short note on the work you have been doing. If we have call volume in your area we will reach out. If we do not, the email sits in the queue and we revisit it when coverage shifts. No reply usually means the network is covered where you are, not that the message was missed.
