24Hr Car Unlocking is a dispatch network. The company itself does not employ field technicians as W-2 staff. Instead, it routes calls to independent contractors who operate across Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. Contractors run their own vehicles, carry their own tools, and accept jobs based on their location and availability. When the dispatch system has a call within range and the contractor is open, the job is offered. When it does not, there is nothing to send.
Two contractor paths are open at the moment. Each one fits a different starting point, and the day-to-day work looks fairly different between them.
Roadside assistance
Roadside contractors handle lockouts, jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. Most work runs through a service vehicle the contractor already owns, with the dispatch system handing off jobs by location and time window. This path is the most common entry point and does not require a locksmith license in any of the three states the network covers.
Locksmith training
The locksmith path is for contractors who want to move beyond basic lockouts into key cutting, programming, and ignition work. It involves training, licensing where the state requires it (Texas does, Arizona and Nevada have their own rules), and a larger investment in tools.
