24Hr Car Unlocking Emergency Roadside Services is a mobile auto-locksmith and roadside-assistance company. Robert Ramirez founded it in Austin in 2019. The work is dispatched, not storefront: a caller reaches dispatch, the nearest available technician is routed to the vehicle, and the job is handled on site.

What we handle

Vehicle lockouts, dead-battery jump-starts, on-site battery replacement, car key replacement and programming, flat tire changes and replacement, fuel delivery, light-duty towing, and light mobile-mechanic work. Lockouts are the largest share of the call volume; jump-starts and tire work follow. Battery, starter, and alternator testing is available on the same visit.

How dispatch works

Calls route through a dispatch system that matches each request to the closest available technician by location and time. The field network is made up of background-checked 1099 contractors who run their own service vehicles and tools. Each contractor clears a screening process before taking calls in the network.

Parts and warranties

Replacement batteries are supplied through O'Reilly Auto Parts and carry a national warranty, so a battery installed roadside is covered the same as one bought over the counter. Tire sales and installation run through a partnership with Discount Tire: new tires are delivered and mounted at the vehicle's location, each with its own warranty certificate, which removes the trip to a tire shop.

Licensing and team

The company is licensed and insured. Day-to-day operations are run by operations manager Casey Lopez. Locksmith technicians in the network hold certification through the Professional Locksmiths of America (certification AL-20220610-07).

Where we dispatch

Texas coverage runs across Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, and Fort Worth and the cities around each. Arizona dispatch is centered on the Phoenix metro. Nevada dispatch covers the Las Vegas Valley including Henderson and Summerlin. Dispatch runs 24 hours a day, including overnight and holidays, which is when a meaningful share of emergency calls come in.
